The New Britain Museum of American Art is proud to present our official blog. Our goal is to create a forum for thought and discussion between artists, visitors, the staff, interns, and invited bloggers. We want to hear what YOU have to say, so please post your comments, thoughts, suggestions, etc. Through a variety of series, we will post regularly on topics that discuss the Museum, our permanent collection, artists represented in the collection or with whom we work, and/or our exhibitions. We also aim to give our readers a behind-the-scenes look at the Museum. We will post previews and thoughts on upcoming exhibitions, analysis and interpretation on works of art that are not currently on view, insight into how the Museum operates and why we do what we do. Overall, we hope that the blog will connect the Museum directly with visitors in a new way and create yet another NBMAA environment Where Art Meets Life.
